How can gays continue to support phobic liberals?

Maybe you're from a parallel universe or something? The Conservatives are the ones that are against gay rights. Democrats just laugh at the hypocrisy and irony in Republicans bashing gays, converting them to conservative Christians, or practicing exorcisms in gay people, and then they turn out to be gay.
