How should I retaliate against being T.P.'d?

I was tp'd last night and I know who did it, I want a way of getting back but without the possibility of acquiring some lovely jail time. I've thought about writing all over the house with sharpie but would the alcohol (in the substance used to get it off) take off the paint or stain?
